1. Choose a Regional Center and deposit $ 500,000 in a trust fund;
   
2. Submit form I-526 to be approved as an immigrant investor;
   
3. Submit a form DS230 or I-485 to request permanent residence;
   
4. Two years later, seek to remove the conditions of residence using Form I-829;
   
5. Five years later, apply for citizenship.
